Hello, my name is Queen Bee. I'm looking for my forever home along with a human to call my own. Do you think you can help me out?
I am a large six year old Mastiff mix with a black/brindle coat. Mastiffs are known for their loving nature and calm demeanor.
I've been told Miss Bangs had been to three different shelters before she was adopted. Well, I was transferred to CGHS from another shelter so I know what it's like to move from shelter to shelter. I hope I find my forever human soon too.
They don't call me Queen Bee for nothing! I get along with other dogs but they have to match my energy. No submissive dogs, please. Mastiffs are usually calm but I am a mix breed hehe. Oh, and no cats, please!
Kids are okay as long as they are older. I don't know my own size, you see.
Please spoil me with lots of toys! Particularly ones that squeak. I love good squeak toys. The louder the better.
Something cute about me is despite my name - I can be a bit shy... I will crawl right on to my human's lap though. I hope you don't mind!
Do you know anyone who would like to be my new human? I want to be spoiled and loved. I am located at the Columbia Greene Humane Society about 45 minutes South of Albany NY. Here is a link:

Hi there, my name is Clove. I am searching for my forever home. Do you think you can help me find one?
I am a four year old Domestic Short Hair mix with a medium sized coat. I would say I'm a medium sized kitty overall, in fact. Not too big, not too small.
I am a very sweet girl who loves to be petted and loved on. I also happen to be an expert biscuit maker! Making biscuits will always be a favorite past time for me.
I do have a condition called "nasopharyngeal stenosis". This means that I make a funny sound whenever I breathe with my mouth closed. If you'd like to learn more about this condition, please click here:
https://www.petmd.com/cat/conditions/respiratory/c_ct_nasopharyngeal_stenosis
I would do well in a home with other cats or children but not so sure about dogs.
I love to curl up with a nice comfy blanket in my bed. It's so relaxing. It's especially nice lying in the sun.
I am up to date on all my vaccines, spayed, and am litter trained so I hope I can find my forever home soon! Maybe a nice human too to go along with it.
Do you know of anyone who might like to adopt me? Maybe we can make biscuits together! I am located at Paws and Prayers. Here is a link.

Hello there, my name is Cara. I am looking for my forever home and a kind hearted human to take care of me. Can you help?
I am a two year old Boxer/Pitbull mix breed. Nice combination, huh? I hear Pitbulls get a bad rep sometimes but I promise I am a good girl!
A good samaritan found me alone in an apartment building. I was so happy someone found me! They brought me to STS to be cared for. I was in bad shape but with some love and care the people here at STS really helped me recover.
I am being fostered with other dogs and cats and attend doggy day care daily. I will do fine in a home with kids but my foster mom believes I will do best in a home with only male dogs or being an only dog myself.
I am a calm girl for the most part and love being a couch potato with my special person but I need daily exercise and active routines. I am forty pounds of love right now.
I hope I can find a forever human who will give me lots of love and watch tv with me. I love the people here at STS and my foster mom but I'm ready to find my forever human. Please come find me soon!
Do you know of anyone who might like to adopt me? I am located at Stop the Suffering in Columbus, Ohio. Please keep in mind STS will only adopt to Ohio residents.

Well Hi! My name is Camper. I am looking for a new forever home with a nice forever human. Think you can help me out?
I am four and a half years young and an extra large Domestic Short Hair/Tabby mix. I got my name for a reason you see. I'm a big boy!
I may be a big boy but that just means I also have big personality. In fact, the humans here at Paws and Prayers say I'm a favorite here at the shelter. I'm a lot of fun!
That being said I would do best in an adult only home with no other pets. I was given up by my last family for that reason...
I had my front claws removed just as an fyi. I wish I still had them but what can a cat do, y'know? I don't recommend declawing a cat.
Oh! I almost forgot - You know how I said I'm a big boy? Well - I'm an impressive eighteen pounds! Pretty big, huh? That is eighteen pounds of love for the humans who decide to adopt me though.
Obviously, I love food and treats so please provide me with lots of them!
Do you know of anyone who might like to adopt me? Let's be best buds! I am located at Paws and Prayers. Here is a link.

Hello there, my name is Roxy. I'm looking for my forever home and human. Do you think you can help me?
I am a Basenji mixed breed around a year and a half old. Basenji's are known for our cat-like personalities as we tend to be independent, aloof, and like to pick out a favorite family member.
My former human had to let me go due to issues with the landlord but hopefully I can find a new forever human to be my best buddy.
I would prefer a home where I can be the only pet so no other dogs or cats please. I am okay around older children.
I have a high energy level and love to play and exercise. I am a hound dog, after all. I love a good game of chase!
My favorite toys are ones that squeak. I can't get enough of them so please spoil me and get me lots and lots! They are so fun to chase around and pretend that they are prey.
One fun fact about me is I love to swim. It would be great if my new forever human has a pool! Or maybe we can visit the beach sometime... Swimming is great exercise don't you think?
Do you know anyone who would like to be my new human? I need a new buddy to play and exercise with asap! I am located at the Columbia Greene Humane Society about 45 minutes South of Albany NY. Here is a link:

Hi there, my name is Chrissy. I'm looking for a new forever home to call my own. Can you help me out?
I'm an older gal - Around thirteen years old with a tuxedo coat pattern. Us older cats need love too and I'm hoping to find a human who understands this.
My front paws are declawed. Just FYI.
I had a home and forever human before but unfortunately my other human had to go to a facility where they couldn't take me with them. I miss them so.
I don't mean to be picky but I am used to being an only pet and it was always pretty quiet in my old home so I prefer to go into another home similar to that. I'm not good with change, you see. I hear the site owners understand what that's like.
I do have something called Chronic Kidney Disease. It can easily be maintained with a prescription diet and it tastes pretty good! Please ask the humans about it at Paws and Prayers if you are curious.
I am a very loving kitty and promise to shower my new human with love and affection. I even love to be held. I hope you or someone you know will give this old gal a chance. I promise you won't regret it!

Hi, my name is Torbie. Can you guess why? It's because I'm a mix of a Tortie and Tabby together. Pretty cute, huh? I'm looking for my forever home. Can you help?
I've had a long, hard journey before the kind humans at Paws and Prayers rescued me. I was lost in the woods for weeks, maybe even months. (I'm not good at telling time but honestly, it felt like years). I was so relieved to see humans again and no longer have to fend for myself.
Despite my unfortunate experience, I am full of love and would enjoy nothing more than curling up on the couch with my forever human.
I don't mind sharing a home with other cats either. I love on them as well. I'm pretty adaptable and will just be thankful to be in a warm loving home.
I hope I can be an inspiration to my forever human that you can do anything as long as you don't give up and keep a positive attitude.
As for the litter box - I am trained on how to use it and up to date on all my vaccinations. I have also been spayed/neutered so no need to worry about becoming a mommy.
If you have any other questions about me, please ask the people at Paws and Prayers! They're so kind and helpful.
Do you know of anyone who might like to adopt me? Maybe somebody needs me as much as I need them. I am located at Paws and Prayers. Here is a link.

Hello there, my name is Rya. I am an orange Domestic Short Hair Mix looking for my forever home. Can you help me?
I am a tiny little thing but I arrived at Paws and Prayers Shelter with five kittens of my own. They have all been adopted and I am hoping for my turn at finding a home and human to call my own.
Having been a mother I'd really like my new home to be quiet and peaceful. There's not a moment's peace when you're a mother, you see, let alone a mother of five kittens!
I do enjoy being petted but I also enjoy a little space every now and then. Balance is key with many things in life, no?
I love to curl up in my cat bed but we can also enjoy watching tv together. I'm curious to know what my forever human's favorite shows are.
I am looking for a place where I can be the only cat. Not only for peace and quiet but I do like to be spoiled. I hope my new human will get me good food and treats.
The humans here estimate me to be around three or four years old. It's a secret!
I am litter box trained and up to date on all my vaccinations. I have also been spayed/neutered so I don't have to worry about being a mother all over again.

Hi, my name is Graham Cracker. I am 10 months old and looking for my forever home. Can you help me?
I am currently being fostered but I hear good things about finding a forever home and having my own human so I am hoping to find one soon.
I would do fine in a home with kids or other cats as long as they are kind and patient with me. It can be hard for me to come out of my shell, you see.
In fact, you could say I love routine and I get a bit out of sorts when there's a random change. The owners of this site say I seem a lot like them. I'm glad there are others who understand.
I am a little standoffish so it can be hard to see my softer side but I promise I will be a loving, loyal companion to anyone willing to give me a chance.
The owner of this site says they wish they could adopt me but they are only allowed to have one pet where they live. It's a shame because I'm sure I'd get along great with Miss Bangs. I am thankful for their help with helping me find my forever home, though.
I am litter box trained and up to date on all my vaccinations. I have also been spayed/neutered.
Do you know anyone who might be interested in adopting me? Please come see me at Beauties and Beasts Rescue in Wichita, Kansas. Here is a link.

Hello, my name is Karen. Yes, I know, I know, that name gets a bad rap these days but I promise I never ask for a manager or anything like that. I'm looking for my forever home. Can you help?
I am a small Domestic Short Hair mix around six years old. I've still got plenty of life left to live and am eager to find my own human.
I've been with Paws and Prayers for about 2 and a half years now. They rescued me from the streets, you see. I am so thankful to them. It does take me some time to open up to new humans but I am learning to trust again.
I'm a very curious girl and love to explore and figure things out on my own. You could say I'm independent. When I do find my forever human, though I will watch their every move. Lovingly, of course! I want to keep an eye on them and know that they are okay.
I would do best in a home with another cat to keep me company. Having another cat there would also help me feel more confident. I bet we'd have all sorts of fun!
One more thing that you should know about me is - I have a sensitive stomach. I require a grain free diet. Please keep this in mind.
I am litter box trained and up to date on all my vaccinations. I have also been spayed/neutered.
Do you know of anyone who might like to adopt me? I am located at Paws and Prayers. Here is a link.

Hello, my name is Geo. I'm a two year old Tabby looking for my forever home. Could you help me?
I'm quite a happy cat overall. I'm currently in a foster home. I love my foster mom so much but I want to know who my forever human will be. I'm sure I will love them to the moon and back.
I love to curl up on my special human's lap and make biscuits. I'm always sure to purr really loudly to let you know I'm happy. My foster mom gives me the best toys... I hope my new forever family provides me with many toys as well.
I owe my life to Beauties and Beasts Rescue. My family and I were left to fend for ourselves in the streets until they came along and rescued us. I'm so thankful to them for giving us a new opportunity at life!
I am both cat and kid-friendly but I haven't been around dogs yet. I am a little shy and timid at first due to my past, but I would be happy to live with a family who has a child or another cat.
I hope I can find my forever family soon... Until then, I will love on my foster mom but if you can, please help me find my forever human!
I am up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Do you know anyone who might be interested in adopting me? Please come see me at Beauties and Beasts Rescue in Wichita, Kansas. Here is a link.

Hello there, my name is River. I am six years young and currently searching for my forever home.
I get along well with just about everyone - other cats, dogs, kids, you name it! I do get a little anxious from time to time and would appreciate a home that has a little corner for me to rest and get my bearings.
I have been at Beauties and Beasts Rescue since 2020. Humans are hesitant to adopt me because I have Megacolon and am especially sensitive to chicken and turkey. Cats with Megacolon can live long and healthy lives so I hope somebody gives me a chance.
Did I mention I LOVE scratching cat trees. There can never be enough scratchers in my forever home. I can be a bit of a neat freak. I like to perch on the sides of my litterbox to avoid getting my feet dirty.
I am up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Do you know anyone who might be interested in adopting me? Please come see me at Beauties and Beasts Rescue in Wichita, Kansas. Here is a link.
