Hi there! The name's Cork. I am looking for a swell human who doesn't mind giving an older cat like me a home. Can you help this old man out?

I am a twelve year old Tabby mixed breed.  I have white fur with a bit of orange here and there. Don't let my age fool you. I am still full of "spunk" as they say. I've got plenty of good jokes too!

If you want a quiet cat, look elsewhere because I'm a chatterbox. I'm always giving my two cents and telling stories. I guess maybe it comes with age?

I'm not a huge fan of other cats. Not dogs either for that matter. I guess you could say I like being the only pet in the house. Hope that isn't a problem!

I know I said I'm full of spunk, but I do still like to nap quite a bit as well. Being chatty makes me tired sometimes, y'know?

One last thing - I am declawed in my front paws. I don't recommend it, personally.

I am a nine year old Chihuahua and Jack Russell mixed breed. I weigh about sixteen pounds. Now, don't let my age fool you. I still have plenty of energy left in me!

In fact, you could say I'm making up for lost time now that I'm here at STS. After living outside in an old dirty dog house, I feel like I'm really living the good life. I hope my forever home is just as nice.

Like any dog, I love food and treats and will take them from your hand whenever I can. I'm a gentle dog, though so don't worry. I'm a nice boy, just excited for a new life outside that darn dog house.

I love a good squeak toy too! I like to hog them all here at STS so please buy me lots of them. They are my favorite toys.

Hi there, my name is Scrappy. Sort of like Scrappy Doo, but I promise I'm not annoying. I'm searching for my forever home. Can you help me find one?

I am a three year old (almost four) Coonhound mixed breed. I have red fur and am about medium sized. Not too big not too small here.

I'm in the shelter because my former humans no longer had time for me. I'm told Miss Bangs was surrendered for the very same reason. I hope I'm not too much trouble for my new pet parents...

I'd do best in a home as the only pet. No other dogs or cats please. Older kids are fine, but please make sure they are respectful. 

I like toys fine but prefer to play with my favorite human. We'll have tons of fun! I have quite a bit of energy!

I am a BIG guy and weigh around fifteen-seventeen pounds. I am a Domestic Short Hair about ten and a half years old. Despite my weight, some would still call me a mini-panther which is pretty cool, right?

I was returned to Paws and Prayers because my former humans could no longer care for me. The shelter is currently looking for anyone who is willing to foster or adopt me.

I am considered a special needs cat because I have chronic upper respiratory infections. I need an occasional round of inexpensive antibiotics.

I promise I am well worth your time though as I am a very friendly cat and want to be your best friend! I get along with just about everyone. Other cats, kids, just a little unsure on dogs though.

For an older cat, I'd say I'm still slightly active, but not too much so. I am up to date on my vaccinations and neutered too. I'm all ready for a new home!

I am an old gal around twelve to thirteen years of age. My breed is a Pomeranian. We're nice and fluffy so if you like nice soft fur, I'm your gal.

I love to snuggle and would be honored to become your cuddle buddy. We could sit together and watch tv all day. I don't mind.

I do have some mobility limitations. In fact, I don't do stairs. I love being carried though so I won't give you any problems when picking me up. I don't let these issues slow me down, either. I still like getting around from place to place.

Being an older gal, I have some health issues as well. I take medications for low thyroid, blood pressure, and Cushing's. I also require eye ointment twice a day for dry eyes. Hope this isn't a burden.

I am a two year old Tabby mixed breed with a short coat. Tabbies tend to have an "M" shape on their foreheads. What do you think of mine?

I would do well in a home with other cats to help me feel comfortable, but please no dogs or children. They make me nervous.

I am a three year old Domestic Short Hair with a Tuxedo pattern. You know what they say about Tuxedo cats, don't you? We have a lot of cattitude!

A few words that describe me would be - playful, energetic, and fun! I love to play, but I do get overstimulated from time to time. Please be patient with me when that happens, okay?

I wasn't too happy when I first arrived at Paws and Prayers but, with a little time and patience I became a happy and sweet boy. They aren't so bad here. I hope I find a nice human like them to call my own. 

I'd do better in a home without dogs or children, please. They don't understand that I need my space and can get overstimulated, you see.

That said, I absolutely adore the company of fellow cats! I even like to take kittens under my wing, sometimes. They are so fun to play with and can keep up with my energy level.

I am a six year old Domestic Short Hair mix who's large enough to fit in both of your arms. That's right, I am a big boy.

Speaking of fitting in your arms, I like being held and hugged very much. I'm a lover, not a fighter. I'm told I really lighten up the room when I walk in.

As stated before, I have a sensitive tummy due to IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I must be kept on a grain free diet and do best when I'm on a probiotic as well. I hope this isn't too much to ask!

I would do well in a home with other cats or kids but am fine as an only pet. Unsure about dogs.

I am a five year old Domestic Long Hair with quite a fluffy coat. I'd say I'm on the larger size, too.

I admit, I am on the aloof side. I like my alone time , you see. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy any company at all though. I like a pet or two (maybe three) from my human companion on my terms.

My ideal home would be on the quieter side. No small children or dogs, please. I don't mind the company of other cats but I will also be fine being the only cat of the house.

I do hope to find a human who understands me. I may not enjoy a lot of affection but that doesn't mean I don't love and appreciate my human. Having a home is always better than having to spend your life in a shelter.

Hello there, my name is River. I am six years young and currently searching for my forever home.

I get along well with just about everyone - other cats, dogs, kids, you name it! I do get a little anxious from time to time and would appreciate a home that has a little corner for me to rest and get my bearings.

I have been at Beauties and Beasts Rescue since 2020. Humans are hesitant to adopt me because I have Megacolon and am especially sensitive to chicken and turkey. Cats with Megacolon can live long and healthy lives so I hope somebody gives me a chance.

Did I mention I LOVE scratching cat trees. There can never be enough scratchers in my forever home. I can be a bit of a neat freak. I like to perch on the sides of my litterbox to avoid getting my feet dirty.
